Last night I had my usual weekly New Age support group meeting in Peekskill and not surprisingly the topic was the Corona Virus: Covid-19. It was a great session and after we did a healing meditation for the planet, I felt so much better.

One of the things we discussed was the meaning of the virus’ name and I would like to share that here now:

As most of you know the word corona in English and Spanish is crown. In Latin, a corona is a glowing circle of light around an object. We know this when there is a total solar eclipse. We see (with special glasses), a beautiful ring of undulating light circle our Sun. What is fascinating is that the current version of the virus took hold in 2019 so the number 19 was added to its name. Well, of course, I went to the numerology experts and looked up what the number 19 symbolized. What I found out was very interesting. I randomly went to two different sites and here is what I found:

Number 19 is associated with both ego and all of humanity, giving it uncanny power to influence life events.

It is also the 19th card of the Major Arcana in the Tarot – the Sun card (it is, of course, the Sun card –remember, the virus was named after the light of the Sun). This is one of the most fortunate cards in the deck. Whenever The Sun appears in a Tarot reading it is fortunate and positively influences all of the cards around it. The same is true of the number 19/1 in Numerology. Like The Sun card, the number 19 shines a light on all other energies surrounding it. The image on the Tarot card The Sun is a bright sun shining on a small child who is riding upon a pristine white horse and has thrown off its garments like a soul shedding the past. This image represents the rebirth of the individual and the dawning of a new day. The Sun is the astrological sign associated with the number 1. There is only one Sun and it illuminates the entire world, but it also shines on everyone equally, which is the essence of the number 9 in 19 as well. Likewise, when the number 19 occurs in your experience, it signals a renewal of the primal energies that inform our lives. This represents a state of balance and peace from which the energies of life pour forth.

Number 19 is an extraordinary number. In ancient times, it was known as the ‘Number of Surrender’. 

Number 19 carries the power of number 1 as well as number 9. In simple words, we can say that this number represents the completion of the task that will take you to a new beginning…It shows that closing one door will only open a new one, so you should not get worried. You should remain active during the process of completion because soon you will achieve something even better. It is also a reminder of self-help. It means that you should not wait for help from outside but initiate your journey on your own, and it will lead you to great advantages. Your positive attitude will not only help you but others as well.

Number 19 tells you to be a good human also. It asks you to serve humanity in whatever way possible. Your life purpose is more than what you are after; by helping others, you will complete your soul purpose. When you want to step towards a new career that benefits earth in any way, and you see number 19, it is the go-go signal for you. It is the message from the universe that you will gain success in this field.

The synchronicities of the name Corona, the number 19, and the Sun card in the Tarot are very enlightening (ha-ha). I believe nothing is random. What we are going through now is a type of correction - like in the stock market. When something is unbalanced or needs severe updating there is a shift to keep it on track. The planet, Source, God, or whatever you want to label it is guiding us to a new more healthy, equal, and balanced existence. If we don’t stay calm and allow this “correction” to happen, we will make it more difficult for the planet and all who live here to heal. This can be compared to what happens when someone contracts a virus, their previous state of health and their current actions predict how they will navigate through the experience -  and where they will ultimately end up. I predict we will end up like the Sun card – if we learn to walk in courage, love, and light.
